France had 1.8 million very high speed broadband subscriptions at 30 June 2013, a 65,000 growth compared to the previous quarter.
Fibre-to-the-home (ftth) subscriptions totalled 415,000, up 50,000 over three months and representing a near 70% growth over one year, according to figures from telecoms regulatory body Arcep.
Operator deployments are continuing with 8.98 million homes being currently reached, including 3.53 million in under-populated areas.
