The Romanian DTH platform Focus Sat has stopped distributing channels operated by the national commercial broadcaster Pro TV.
Mediaexpres reports that Pro TV has responded by publishing a list of 250 cable operators that still carry their channels.
It has also suggested to viewers that they also use other methods to receive the channels, including via analogue or digital terrestrial TV, where available.
Significantly, the dispute between the two parties does not affect UPCís cable operation in Romania, which like Focus Sat is backed by Liberty Global.
Nor does it affect all the Viacomís MTV Romania, which is also distributed Pro TV.
The channels affected are Pro TV, Acasa TV, Pro Cinema, Acasa Gold, and Pro TV international.
