Yuvad Technologies' video compression and advertising solutions have been awarded five United States patents for its automatic content recognition (ACR) algorithms, used to automatically identify video content with precision content awareness and processing efficiency.
ACR technologies have been identified as a key element in supporting a broad range of applications for delivering content enhanced video services. These include targeted advertising, video search, second-screen smart TV and connected TV synchronised applications, copyright enforcement, content monitoring, media asset management, media metadata processing, and so on.
Based on the patented ACR technologies, the Yuvad advertising solution can automatically identify national advertising content, and align local advertising with national content. The combination of ACR technology with high efficiency encoding/transcoding capabilities results in an integrated solution for over-the-top (OTT) video deliveries.
