Hot on the heels of the agreement between Orange and HBO, renewed in January, Orange's cinema and series premium bouquet OCS will become enriched with the new channel OCS City "génération HBO" as of 10 October.
At that time, the OCS Max and OCS Happy channels will merge and OCS Novo will be discontinued, with some of its programming finding a new home on OCS City 'génération HBO'.
The new channel will exclusively broadcast HBO's series in France and will offer the on-demand US+24 (hot from the US) feature on a linear basis in a subtitled version on Monday nights at 8.40pm.
The bouquet will also add new OCS Go, a channel where viewers can discover or rediscover cult series from HBO such as The Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under and Bored to Death, or to watch entire past seasons.
The OCS service will also be composed of OCS Max, OCS Choc and OCS Géants.
OCS is currently available on Orange TV, Canalsat, SFR Box, Parabole Réunion and Tahiti NUI Satellite.
Orange is looking to further extend its distribution to new operators.
