US provider of multiscreen video solutions SeaChange International has teamed up with German media company Axel Springer to help TV service providers capture on-demand advertising revenues.
At IBC 2013, Axel Springer Digital TV Guide and SeaChange are demonstrating a new turnkey solution for video-on-demand (VOD) advertising to benefit TV broadcasters, content owners and advertisers through an integration of technology and the ad sales process.
The joint solution presented at SeaChange's stand 14.B20 integrates Axel Springer Digital TV Guide's channel manager, its campaign manager and an ad decision system with the SeaChange infusion AdPulse campaign manager and ad decision software. The solution is designed to weave in high value advertising helping to reduce the cost of VOD content and opening new revenue streams for service providers worldwide.
Partnering with Axel Springer Media Impact, Axel Springer's global ad sales organisation, the companies now offer a complete spectrum of VOD advertising capabilities from sales to insertion and reporting. The solution enables flexible business models to meet increasing customer demands for ad-supported VOD services and also allows for a suite of additional features such as personalisation and targeting.
