The Slovenian alternative telco Amis has been put up for sale for in the region of 30 million.
According to Finance, the Maribor-based company posted a profit of 600,000 in 2012 despite having previously operated at a loss for several years.
It is backed by the investment funds KBC (Belgium) and Iris Capital (France) and also has a presence in neighbouring Croatia.
Both Slovenia and Croatia have highly developed IPTV markets in which Telekom Slovenije and Hrvatski Telekom are the respective leading players.
However, they face competition from several smaller operators, including Amis.
