    help - cacheex setting problem

    Oscam setting works fine, but from last 2 weeks I have many problems - freezing every 1-2 minutes, ecm jumping from 100ms - 600ms. I bought a new router last week: ASUS RT-AC66U AC1750. Have fast broadband 50Mb/download and 5Mb/upload (TalkTalk)
    Spent many nights to reconfigure best settings, tested dozens settings, but still experiencing same problem.
    Please, need your advice what I need to change in my settings to works properly?

    1x Sky Ire - Setanta, BT Sport, ESPN

    cacheex I only use 0963, and 09CD,09C4 (Sky Italy)
    I have 36 peers in CCcam, 8 peers in Oscam, and 5 peers cacheex 3 oscam.
    Im using only CCcam and Oscam, no csp, etc

    I have big internet usage over 50GB every day.
    tried reduce: cacheex_maxhop = 2 (1), but usage showing same.
    Using same group for chacheex peers - group 30, Im not sure if I can mixup same group 30 with 0963 and 09CD

    Total push Total got Total hit Cache size
    Pushing Getting

    Re: help - cacheex setting problem

    If you are running your Cache-EX on an STB my advice would be DON'T. They are not powerful enough to handle the cache-traffic. I experienced problems on STB's when cache-sizes went up up to the point that I didn't even get any hits.

    I would start by using cacheex_ecm_filter to filter the ECM's you want; at least that's how I do it Not sure if filtering works with caid option.

    Re: help - cacheex setting problem

    forward_origin_card

    parameter is optional
    forward_origin_card = 0|1
    1 = forward ECM request to reader holding this card, loadbalancer, fallback and caching will be disabled 0 = default

    So it should be on 0

    Re: help - cacheex setting problem

    Thank you.
    Im tried/tested now with:
    forward_origin_card = 0/1
    loadbalancer = 0/1,
    fallback = 0/1
    No improvement recognize....
    Also tried "cwcycle" buts its looks worse, not recommended for 0963:
    cwcycle_check_caid = 0963
    cwcycle_maxlist = 1500
    cwcycle_keeptime = 15
    cwcycle_onbad = 1
    cwcycle_dropold = 1
    cwcycle_sensitive = 4

    probably need to jump back to old-stable oscam versions, or try to use Mcamd + csp, but its lot of works.
    Will try to install/setup two oscams .. one card reader only, another as client with cacheex reader.
