As its non-US business becomes more important, Videology has made a series of new executive appointments.
The company — which provides an advertising platform for advertisers, agencies and publishers — says that the expansion of its executive leadership team with newly-established global positions will serve its rapid international growth to better meet customer demand. Earlier in 2013 the company secured $60 million in financing to accelerate the growth of its global media management platform.
“With almost 50% of our business now coming from outside of the US, our international expansion and scale is truly cementing our leadership in the video advertising space,” explained Videology chairman and CEO Scott Ferber. “We’re ramping up nearly every part of our business to meet that global demand and are committed to providing these markets with experienced leadership and local resources.”
In detail, the appointment will see Rhys McLachlan, boasting more than 16 years’ experience at media agencies, in a new role as head of global TV strategies. To meet the growth of Videology’s major global accounts across both demand and supply, Jana Eisenstein has been appointed senior vice president of Videology’s global accounts division, responsible for building cohesive global strategies for the company’s worldwide clients.
With a focus on further building its European footprint, Videology has promoted Anne de Kerckhove to managing director of EMEA where she leads business development in the region and is responsible for growing the UK and French businesses, building out newly-launched operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy, and expanding the business into new markets including Benelux, Turkey, Russia, Germany and Eastern Europe.
