TV5MONDE USA, a round-the-clock French language entertainment channel in the US carried on Comcast cable, is partnering with the French Cinema Now Seattle festival to bring part of the festival line-up to the network's recently launched Cinema On Demand service, running concurrently with screenings at the festival.

The channel will also provide on-air and online promotion of SIFF French Cinema Now Seattle.
"By partnering with the SIFF's French Cinema Now Seattle festival we are able to present a unique and high quality French language film line-up to our subscribers nationwide," said TV5MONDE's COO Patrice Courtaban.
The festival, which is run by the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), will take place 24-30 October, and will continue to offer the films through to the end of November. Comcast Xfinity customers in Seattle as well as 11 additional major US markets, including San Francisco, Chicago and Boston, will be able to access the films via VOD.
"I am thrilled with the films and guests we've lined up for this year's festival. The diversity of styles and bravura performances really show the incredible quality of Francophone cinema culture right now," said Carl Spence, SIFF's artistic director. "We look forward to expanding our audience nationwide on TV5MONDE Cinema On Demand."
Launched in July, TV5MONDE Cinema On Demand service delivers an average of 15 movies each month and provides unlimited views to subscribers of TV5MONDE USA. TV5MONDE subscribers on Xfinity can also access the Cinema On Demand service online at and through Internet-connected devices via the Xfinity app.
