The Murphy family sets out to reverse the curse in Jinxed, Nickelodeon's original TV movie starring Ciara Bravo (Big Time Rush) and Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), premiering on Friday 29 November.

The 90-minute comedy follows the misadventures of Meg Murphy (Bravo) whose family has been magically cursed with Murphy's Law, a spell of never-ending bad luck. Meg sets off on a zany journey to break the 100-year-old jinx that has caused the Murphys to become the unluckiest family.

"Jinxed is Nickelodeon's fun and contemporary take on the old adage of Murphy's Law, infused with a positive message to embrace who you are," said Russell Hicks, president of content development and production at Nickelodeon. "Ciara Bravo and Jack Griffo team up to take fans on an amazing larger-than-life journey filled with humour, action and romance."

Jinxed is executive produced by Scott McAboy (Swindle, Big Time Movie, Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh), and directed by Stephen Herek (The Mighty Ducks, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Mr. Holland's Opus), from a teleplay by Aury Wallington (Sex and the City, Veronica Mars, Cupid's Christmas) and Neal Israel. It's based on an unproduced script by Bill Timoney.
