Clarovideo has announced an agreement with 20th Century Fox to add its most successful productions to América Movil's video-on-demand (VOD) streaming catalogue for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Fox's award-winning series including Glee, Homeland, Modern Family and Sons of Anarchy, as well as some classic productions like 24 and The X Files, will be broadcast on-demand in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and the Dominican Republic. The productions will be available within a few weeks.

"Under this agreement we will bring to our audience the most popular Fox productions, already well known in the Latin American market," said Pablo Iacoviello, acquisitions director at DLA.

Evan Scheffel, senior VP for pay-TV and VOD streaming at Fox Television Distribution, added that the production house is pleased to support Clarovideo's expansion throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

The VOD service is operated by DLA, América Móvil's Miami-based subsidiary, and is available in Mexico through the Internet and in Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Dominican Republic through Claro platforms.
