French international news channel France 24 has concluded a distribution agreement in the US with digital terrestrial network KCSM, making its English version available 24/7 to 2.5 million TV households across the San Francisco Bay Area – the fifth largest television market in the country.
Available locally on the digital broadcast channels 43.2 and 60.2, France 24 is also accessible via Comcast channel 198.
At a national level, France 24 now broadcasts an hour-and-a-half per day all across the US to independent/public TV and cable affiliates, thanks to its partner MHz Worldview.
The English version is available Monday to Friday at 6.30am and 7pm EST and Saturdays and Sundays at 7am and 7pm EST.
The extension of France 24's part-time agreement with MHz Networks allows the channel to broadcast one of its flagship nightly news programmes, The France 24 Debate, at 7pm EST to 38 million TV households in over 30 States across the US.
