Swiss live streaming provider Teleboy will be the first customer of VideoRise, the online video platform recently launched by Deutsche Telekom Business Development & Innovation and powered by Saffron Digital.

Teleboy is using VideoRise to launch Teleboy VOD, Switzerland's first subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service – available on the iPhone, iPad and the Internet – with more than 2,500 hours of premium TV content from Hollywood studios as well as content from the BBC.
VideoRise is an end-to-end platform combining the components required to manage and deliver an over-the-top (OTT) service. It features a digital rights management (DRM) system and secure transmission. VideoRise prepares and catalogues each title for playback on iOS and Web devices.
"Following the huge success of our live streaming service, it was a natural progression for us to introduce VOD content into our offering," said Karim Zekri, CEO of Teleboy. "Having carried out extensive research on potential technology partners, we chose VideoRise because of the combined experience of Deutsche Telekom and Saffron Digital in delivering world-class solutions."
