Cowboy Shopping Network rides into TV

RFD-TV is gearing up to debut a new programme, The Cowboy Shopping Network, on 7 December, to dovetail with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) and Stetson Cowboy Christmas event. Viewers will be introduced to an assortment of themed products, including from name brands such as Stetson and Roper.

The hour long show will be hosted by Wild Wendy Brown, Katie Bartlett, Brandon Woodruff and Chris Woodruff, and will be broadcast live from The Stetson Country Christmas at the Sands Expo and The Roper Cowboy Marketplace at Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas during the WNFR.

"We host over 700 unique western lifestyle vendors with more than 2,000 booths which showcase everything from custom jewellery, western clothing, furniture, equine products and more," said Chris Woodruff, executive producer of CSN. "There's not a better location to feature an endless supply of cowboy shopping than live on RFD-TV."

The launch of the Cowboy Shopping Network is in preparation for RFD-TV's The American Rodeo, which will be held on 2 March 2014 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It is the richest rodeo in the history of western sports with a $2 million pay-out. Winners from the semi-finals will compete against the top ten athletes after the Professional Bull Riding world final standings and WNFR final world standings.

The event is being closely coordinated with PBR's Iron Cowboy V, which will take place the day before The American on 1 March 2014 at AT&T Stadium. Combined, the events are expected to bring over 100,000 fans and participants to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
