Fox launches second-screen app for Latin America

Fox International Channels Latin America is to launch Sync, its second-screen app for the region which will premiere on Thursday 28 November during Cumbia Ninja, the first show in which it will be possible to synchronise a mobile device.
The app, designed in Latin America, is already available from Google Play and the App Store, for Android and iOS. The platform offers the chance to watch Fox programmes live while offering a second-screen experience with extra videos, alternative stories, extended information and surveys. In fact, during the Cumbia Ninja episode on Thursday viewers will be able to choose an alternative ending.
Fox Sync will be available for the company's main shows and productions, through Fox, FX, Nat Geo, Fox Sports, Fox Life, Cinecanal and Film Zone.
According to the company, the app offers viewers wider access to Fox content while building a new opportunity for advertisers who will be able to reach the end customer in a more direct way, enabling greater personalisation of adverts.
