beIN SPORT makes play for AT&T U-Verse subscribers

In a move that will enable mobile and online users to have access to more live sports events, authenticated AT&T U-verse customers can now access the beIN SPORT PLAY TV anywhere service.

AT&T U-verse subscribers who receive the Al Jazeera subsidiary's content as part of their TV subscription can log in to to access the linear programming on beIN SPORT in English and Spanish through the beIN SPORT en Español package.

All programming will be offered in HD and will be available on broadband-connected PCs, mobile tablets and smartphones. beIN SPORT PLAY's Web-responsive platform is claimed to be able to allow the stream to serve an ideal viewing experience on each device. They can also access live games offered by beIN SPORT's leagues, conferences and sports properties.

beIN SPORT's exclusive coverage highlights football such as La Liga and Copa del Rey in Spain featuring Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo; Italy's Serie A; Ligue 1 in France, the English Football League which offers the fight for promotion to join the likes of Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney in the Premier League; CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying matches; and the Copa America.
