Multi-platform advertising company INVISION has appointed long-time Sony exec Travis Howe as senior vice president of revenue and client services.

Howe will head up INVISION's account management, sales and marketing, and client support teams. Prior to joining INVISION, he served as senior vice president for the Americas, overseeing sales development and ad operations functions for Sony's digital ad sales division. Howe founded the division in 2006 that manages digital ad sales for Sony's entertainment companies including PlayStation, Sony Pictures and Sony Pictures Television. He was also responsible for managing business development, sales planning and ad operations teams across online, mobile, PlayStation 3 and Sony's suite of connected devices. Howe was also accountable for ad operations in South America for Crackle's Latin American sites.

"In addition to Travis' in-depth experience in sales development, planning and ad operations, as a past INVISION customer himself, Travis understands the complexity of ad sales operations through his experience in building and implementing a complex vendor ecosystem for Sony's digital business," said Steve Marshall, CEO at INVISION. "A seasoned player such as Travis joining our team strengthens our mission of delivering innovative solutions and services that enable our customers to optimize their revenue and streamline their operations through exceptional customer service. We are excited to have his leadership and experience in obtaining our goal to be most trusted solutions provider and partner in the industry."

"INVISION has built its reputation as a leading provider of integrated sales and traffic solutions in the television industry, and has consistently delivered transformative products to its customers," said Howe. "It's an exciting time in the industry and I'm thrilled to join forces with a leader like INVISION who is uniquely positioned to deliver multi-platform solutions for traditional and advanced television, mobile and digital media, which will be critical as our media landscape converges."

Prior to Sony, Howe was an operational strategy consultant for Inforte, where he focused on mergers and acquisition in the US and Europe. He has also served as a change management consultant for Accenture focused on the entertainment, travel, tourism and consumer products verticals.

INVISION also announced two other changes: Kami Ragsdale has been appointed INVISION's COO in addition to her duties as CFO, and Glenn Dolce has joined the company as vice president of sales.
