Reflecting, it says, its ongoing commitment to TV drama, UK post-production facility LipSync Post has appointed former ITV executive Beverley Horne as its new head of TV.
Located in two sites on London’s Wardour Street industry hub, LipSync Post has enjoyed recent success in TV and broadcast alongside its feature film work. Recent credits include film projects include Starred Up, The Invisible Woman, Byzantium, Broken and The Look of Love, as well as television projects including The Great Train Robbery dramas for BBC One, Death Comes To Pemberley, Dancing on the Edge, The Sparticle Mysteries, Falcón, Birdsong, Leonardo and Hidden.
After post-supervising a number of dramas over the last seven years — including Agatha Christie: Poirot, four series of Inspector Lewis and The Prisoner — Horne will be responsible for overseeing all post-production work on television dramas.
Commenting on the appointment, Lisa Jordan, facility director, said: “Our TV department has been growing steadily over the last few years and has reached the point where we need someone dedicated to oversee it. Beverley’s experience of working on high quality dramas further strengthens our highly talented post team, and with the addition of our various financial offerings to TV producers, we are well placed to welcome more quality dramas.”
