Only weeks after launch, UUX’s new Internet TV as-a-Service (iTaaS) platform has claimed its first deployment with Telenor Hungary’s MyTV service.

UUX is the fruits of a merger between Total Media Networks and OTT Networks and is designed to offer network operators with a one-stop, market-ready over-the-top (OTT) service offering a new approach to discovery, control and consumption of live and catch-up television and video-on-demand (VOD) content across multiple devices and screens.

MyTV comes equipped with 14 channels covering news, children, sports and general interest programming, including AXN, AXN White, AXN Black, DUNA, DUNA WORLD, Fashion Box, FilmBox, FilmBox Arthouse, FilmBox Extra, M1, M2, Sundance channel, Story4, Story5 and others in the near future. Telenor MyTV users will have unlimited access to an extensive Library of premium Hollywood content including movies and TV series free of charge for the first three months. Future expansion will include the introduction of different packages to Telenor subscribers.

UUX will see use with MyTV supporting live TV, catch-up TV and video-on-demand content, and can be accessed on all Internet connected devices and screens.

“Telenor Hungary is proud to launch MyTV as a revolutionary new service for the Hungarian market. We focus on a convenient, easy-to-use service offering high-quality content provided by our partners. We will continuously improve the service and extend our TV and video offering based on customer feedback,” said Christopher Laska CEO of Telenor Hungary.
