Video advertising technology provider has expanded into Southeast Asia. Alex Kahn, previously COO of Catcha Media Group and CEO of Catcha Digital Asia, has been appointed managing director of’s Southeast Asia operations.

Khan has experience in digital media, publishing and e-commerce, and will use it to drive sales and product development in the region, which has seen significant growth in cross-screen and programmatic video. According to a recent comScore report, Southeast Asia’s web audience grew 10% from 2012, and saw traffic from smartphone and tablet screens grow 33% in the same timeframe*.

In previous roles, Khan has headed agency sales at Yahoo! UK and Ireland, was commercial director for Deal Group Media, based in London, and established AKTJV Digital, a digital agency with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines.
