Clipfish, the video portal operated by German media group Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, has expanded its proposition for connected TV households with Clipfish Anime, offering full-length Japanese cartoon series free of charge.
The on-demand offering, which is financed through advertising, contains current series such as Arcana Famiglia, Romeo x Juliet, Burst Angel, Speed Grapher and Rogue Hero as well as classics like Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. The programmes can be rewound, fast forwarded and paused. The total line-up comprises around 150 hours of content and will constantly be expanded.
Following Clipfish Music and Clipfish Comedy, Clipfish Anime is Clipfish's third connected TV channel. For reception, viewers need a connected TV or set-top box compliant with interactive multimedia standard HbbTV and hooked up to the Internet. Access to the offering available to cable and satellite households is through the red button on the remote control.
