FOX to launch in Hungary

FOXFOX International Channels (FIC) has announced that its flagship entertainment channel FOX will make its debut in Hungary in February 2014.

On air for 18 hours daily, it will be distributed by Magyar Telekom and offer viewers FICís best-known global franchises and exclusive premieres of new series from 20th Century Fox Television Distribution.

Commenting on the launch, Carlos Ortega, FICís EVP of Central and Eastern Europe, said: ďWeíre thrilled to bring FOX and our slate of original, breakthrough and exclusive series to Hungarian fans.

FOX has launched in Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Greece, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Norway, and the UK in the past year.

In Hungary, it will join a FIC portfolio that already includes National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild.
