Time Warner renews retrans with Tribune in five markets

Tribune Company and Time Warner Cable have announced a new multi-year retransmission consent agreement for the Tribune broadcast television stations in major US cities.
THe deal covers New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Diego and Indianapolis, as well as the company’s expanded station portfolio, which will soon include Local TV Holdings’ television stations in Cleveland, Milwaukee, Kansas City, and Greensboro.
The agreement also covers Time Warner Cable’s continued distribution of Tribune’s superstation WGN America. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tribune’s broadcasting group owns or operates 23 television stations, WGN America on national cable, the national multicast networks Antenna TV and THIS TV, Tribune Studios and Chicago’s WGN-AM
