Mood Group's DMX Media has announced a distribution deal with SETAR, a pay-TV operator in the Netherlands Antilles, to bring its music channels portfolio to Cable TV Aruba.
Through the agreement, the second of its kind in recent weeks, DMX Media aims to reinforce its position in the Caribbean.
DMX's pay-TV portfolio comprises various styles of music from jazz to rock and new wave. The multiplatform offer gives subscribers easy access to the channels which cater for a wide range of tastes.
The catalogue offers the operator the tools it needs to bring personalised music services to subscribers, with a high added value. The channels are available in linear as well as through DMX2GO, a multiplatform tool which gives audiences immediate access to music on different screens and which can also be used by Cable TV Aruba for distribution via the Internet.
"This agreement strengthens our position in the Caribbean's main markets, a region with a high strategy value for our company," explained Alejandro Cacciola, general manager at DMX. "It improves Cable TV Aruba while placing DMX Media as a company willing to work with innovative operators."
DMX Media is one of the leading companies for music distribution in Latin America and the Caribbean. During the past few months it has been increasing its presence in the region's pay-TV sector, recently signing an agreement with Uruguay's Punta Cable.
