Unitymedia Kabel BW to expand HD line-up

Germany's second largest cable operator Unitymedia Kabel BW will add two new HD channels to its cable network on 14 January 2014: Disney Channel HD and VIVA HD.

Until the re-launch of the German Disney Channel as an advertising-financed free-to-air channel on 17 January, trailers will be aired which present the upcoming shows. After Astra satellite platform HD+, Unitymedia Kabel BW is the second provider distributing the new Disney Channel in high definition.

For reception of Disney Channel HD and VIVA HD, viewers need a cable subscription with the HD option.
