euronews-newsEuronews has selected the European technical services company BCE for the installation of its new bureau in Budapest.

This follows on from the successful integration of its Greek platform, the 24×7 monitoring of which BCE will ensure from its network operation centre (NOC) in Luxembourg.

BCE worked on both IT and broadcast integration, including sound editing and mixing studios and telecom links, from the new infrastructure to Euronews head office, based in Lyon, France.

Commenting on the new development, Jean-Alain Jachiet, head of system telecom and network solutions at BCE, said: “This new project with Euronews confirms BCE expertise in system integration for IT and broadcast”.

Cécile Leveaux, CTO at Euronews, added: “Euronews has been working with BCE for several years now and our cooperation has always been fruitful. Their participation in the creation of our new Hungarian office was an evidence after the successful opening of our Greek office in Athens. BCE knows our needs and we are entirely satisfied of their technical skills and know-how.”

Euronews now has 13 language feeds, the latest of which is Hungarian.
