Watchever buys ZDF Enterprises package

German subscription video-on-demand (VOD) platform Watchever has secured movies and series from ZDF Enterprises, the commercial subsidiary of German public broadcaster ZDF in a new two-year contract.

The package includes films such as Krupp - A Family Between War and Peace and Crime: Stories as well as detective series such as German production Kriminaldauerdienst and Danish/Swedish/German co-production Bron Broen (The Bridge).

Children's programmes are also part of the deal, for example The New Adventures of Peter Pan, The Jungle Book and Wendy. Teenagers are targeted by series like Wolfblood, H20 - Just Add Water, Dance Academy and Mako Mermaids.

Watchever wants to regularly add new movies and series from ZDF Enterprises to its VOD library which customers can use for a flat monthly fee of €8.99.
