Spain's Eurocom Broadcast has delivered HD equipment to ICRTV in the Caribbean, further strengthening the company's position as a technology provider and a supplier of turnkey solutions in the region.

Eurocom has integrated technology from Sony, Ross Video, EVS, Evertz, Canon, Leader, BlackMagic and Shure, among other producers.

ICRTV has purchased a mobile unit with eight HD cameras, which can be increased up to 14. The Spanish provider has implemented control and management tools during the whole process, allowing ICRTV to keep tabs on the project development. The mobile unit was completed in eight weeks, with Eurocom being responsible for the entire process, including equipment, engineering, management and quality control.

This project is one of several carried out lately by Eurocom in the Caribbean and Central America, namely Panama, Costa Rica, Salvador and the Dominican Republic.

The company has recently been strengthening its position as a broadcast technology provider in Latin America. In November, Eurocom participated in Media Network's monitoring centre construction in Peru, from where Telefónica's B2B unit will control its satellite TV and Internet wholesaler services for the whole region.
