The French OTT-enriched TV service, TeVolution, has launched an online video library, Disneytek, for its customers.

From 18 January, the service's French broadband subscribers with at least a 2Mbps connection will have access to old and new movies from Disney and Disney Pixar studios, no matter who their supplier is.

Titles range from Cinderella to Toy Story 3, and Planes which is set to air in February.

Viewers will now be able to purchase, collect and stream movies on their TV sets, or download and watch them on any screen, or even watch them off-line on their computers.

Stocked in the cloud, this online video library will be available at any time and in any location within metropolitan France.

TeVolution already offers TV channel bouquets and la carte networks along with VOD rental, from its box connected to a DTT adaptor. It now intends to promote online VOD purchases to fill in the gap when priority is given to the French pay-TV broadcast window.
