UPC Hungary looks to HD

upc-logo-rightUPC Hungary doubled its HD subscriber total last year and continues to add to its HD channel total.

According to the company, the latest channel to join its line-up is Sport2 HD, following an agreement with Chello Central Europe.

UPC Hungary is making is package of HD channels available to subscribers free of charge until January 25, and Sport2 HD free of charge until mid-February.

Its focus on the format is reflected in the fact that it has provided only HD receivers to its subscribers since last year.

Also since last year, its basic digital package has included the HD channels m1HD, m2 HD, Duna HD and Duna World HD.
