Bloomberg TV Africa launches football show

An analysis-based weekly football show featuring former Nigeria international Efan Ekoku is coming to Bloomberg TV Africa each weekend in conjunction with BSports.
The show, called Football Dynamics, will have a reach of 220 million households across 38 African countries, as well as in Europe and the Middle East.
Along with Ekoku will be presented by former CNN journalist, Ayesha Durgahee, alongside British football journalists Ben Lyttleton and Dave Farrar.
"Football Dynamics will combine all the assets of BSports in performance analytics and advanced match forecasting to create a show that merges the most important data and opinions in football with an emphasis on Africa," said Bill Squadron, president of Bloomberg Sports.
Impressive performances across the top five European leagues will become a regular feature on the show, along with the World Cup section 'Road to Rio', which will follow the fortunes of the five African nations en route to Brazil.
"Football fans will hear from not just top flight players but also the club executives making the deals and expanding their global reach. Viewers will gain a unique insight into the relationship between business and the game they love," said Rotimi Pedro, chairman of Optima Media Group, owners of Bloomberg TV Africa.
