Time Warner Cable has added A+E, History and Lifetime network apps as part of its TV everywhere offerings, giving TWC and Bright House Networks customers access to shows on iOS and Android phones, tablets and on desktop via the Web.

The apps enable customers to watch full episodes, movies and exclusive clips of A+E Networks programming, including current and previous seasons of Storage Wars and Duck Dynasty on A&E, Pawn Stars and Swamp People on History, and Dance Moms and Project Runway on Lifetime.

"We're excited to add the power and popularity of programming from A+E Networks to the ever-growing stable of content our customers access when they're on-the-go," said Mike Angus, senior vice president and general manager of video at Time Warner Cable. "Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars, Dance Moms and Pawn Stars add a lot more fuel to our TV everywhere fire, and deliver more of what our customers want."

"We are pleased to launch A+E Networks' watch apps with our great partners at Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks," said Mark Garner, senior vice president of distribution and business development, analytics and marketing at A+E Networks. "A+E Networks has been at the forefront of TV everywhere and we are thrilled that Time Warner Cable's valued customers will now be able to enjoy A+E Networks' portfolio of brands on iOS and Android phones."

The apps also include social sharing where customers can post to Twitter, Facebook or send emails with a direct link.
