Dubai telecommunications company du has improved its IPTV and video-on-demand (VOD) service interface to provide subscribers with a better browsing experience.
"Our video-on-demand feature is very popular with du TV subscribers, as it offers them some of the world's greatest movies that can be viewed at their own leisure, for exceptional value," said Fahad Al Hassawi, chief commercial officer, du.
"The upgrade of video-on-demand and du TV comes as part of our commitment to consistently offering an improved experience to our customers, adding more value to their lives by making every day more convenient and simple."
The service, which competes in the UAE with Etisalat's IPTV offering, comprises more than 200 local and international TV channels, as well as du's OnDemand Club, which provides viewers with a catalogue of Arabic, Hollywood or Bollywood film and television titles. Up to four hours of live programming can also be paused or rewound.
