ARD and ZDF stream Olympics via HbbTV

Sochy 2014German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will be streaming 500 additional hours of live coverage of the winter Olympics using the HbbTV standard.
The additional live streams come on top of the 240 hours the two pub casters have scheduled from Friday, February 7, till Sunday, February 23.
Up to four additional streams will be available from the so-called Mediatheken of the two broadcasters. By pressing the red button, viewers with a HbbTV set can access the extra streams.
The service will work with all HbbTV equipped devices that are connected to the internet.
The broadcasters also have a special Olympic portal, which is responsive to the device, including PCs, smartphones, tablets and HbbTV sets.
