QB9 sketches out US, Euro strategy for animation series

After what it claims is success across Latin America, Grupo Clarin subsidiary Transmedia Projects has revealed that animation products from its QB9 Entertainment business unit will become available for the US Hispanic market.

QB9 Entertainment also announced at the Kidscreen Summit in New York that it had sealed distribution agreements for European markets such as Italy, France, Spain as well as emerging economies such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and the Maldives.

The company’s most famous product is the Gaturro comic strip which is said to be enjoyed by nearly ten million children in Latin America through the www.mundogaturro.com website and which is also available through the Cartoon Network TV channel in the region.
