Newly-formed animation company Splash Entertainment has finalised key international sales for its 3D stereoscopic feature film Dive Olly Dive and The Pirate Treasure, including one with Lagardère in France.

The group has acquired the film for its free-to-air channel Gulli where it will be telecast in France, as well as in all French-speaking countries in Europe and Africa.

The 80-minute movie that was recently premiered in cinemas in China, is based on the global animated series Dive Olly Dive.

International sales also include Discovery Kids Latin America, for its broadcast platform throughout Latin America, with the film slated to air later this spring, and AKM Distribution in Russia and the CIS.
This company plans to release the film in cinemas by spring 2014.

With these deals, Dive Olly Dive and The Pirate Treasure will now be seen in over 80 countries.

The Dive Olly Dive series follows the adventures of Olly, a young submarine-in-training, and Beth, his best friend and fellow sub-in-training.

Splash Entertainment was founded early this month from the assets of Moonscoop LLC in the US, and is co-managed by Mike and Liz Young along with Nicolas Atlan.
