SES inks Slovak deal

ses-chateauThe Slovakian telco Towercom has renewed a long-term agreement with SES for the use of a transponder on ASTRA 3B at SES’s 23.5 degrees East orbital position.
Towercom uses several transponders at 23.5 degrees East to deliver TV services, some of which are in HD, to the Czech and Slovak markets.
It provides capacity to Skylink, which with over 2 million customers is the leading DTH platform in the two countries.
Commenting on the renewed agreement, Roman Fischer, CEO and chairman of the board at Towercom, said: “Cooperating with the most reliable satellite provider, SES, helps us to do this and remain a reliable long-term partner for our customers.”
