Trying times for nc+

The Polish DTH platform nc+ ended 2013 with 2.2 million post-paid subscribers.
This was unchanged on three months earlier and 100,000 down on the total in mid-2013.
Its monthly ARPU was PLN65.7 (€15.8) and full year revenue amounted to PLN2.2 billion.
TVN, one of nc+’s backers, posted revenues of PLN1,555 million in 2013, down 1.8% on a year earlier.
Of these, the TV segment accounted for PLN1,527 million, down 1.6% on 2012.
Adjusted EBITDA was PLN506 million, or 2.9% more than a year earlier.
TVN had a net profit of PLN43 million in Q4 and a loss of PLN207 million for the full year.
Nc+ was formed by the merger of n and Cyfra+ in March 2013.
