aioTV partners with TMS for advanced TV search and discovery in LATAM, Europe

aioTV has announced that it will use the full range of TMS' On Entertainment metadata for operators in Europe and Latin America.
TMS provides entertainment navigation, and aioTV specialises in middleware for cable operators and other video service providers. Together the two will work to create advanced search and discovery of aggregated live TV, video-on-demand (VOD) and online video content within the multiscreen user interfaces that aioTV creates for domestic and international customers.
"Cable operators from large to small must offer advanced search to meet the needs of today's entertainment consumers," said Rich Cusick, general manager of TMS.
Discoverability of live TV, VOD and online video content within aioTV UIs will be enabled by industry-standard TMS Unique IDs, which synchronise entertainment assets across multiple datasets.
