German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will add three further HD channels to its platform in April 2014.

On 1 April documentary channel Spiegel Geschichte HD and women and lifestyle channel TNT Glitz will launch on Sky. Both channels will be available to Sky satellite customers via Astra (19.2° East). Spiegel Geschichte has so far not offered an HD simulcast while Glitz HD is already available on cable networks and on Deutsche Telekom's IPTV platform Entertain.

Disney Junior HD will follow on 15 April - for Sky satellite customers as well. The HD version of the pre-school children's channel has so far only been carried by Entertain. After Disney Cinemagic HD, Disney Junior HD will be Walt Disney's second HD channel at Sky.
