Eurochannel expands to Africa and strengthens in Europe

The European content TV channel Eurochannel has expanded into Africa and soon plans to strengthen its position in Europe.

In Africa, Eurochannel is available on Montage TV in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. The channel has also signed an agreement with UndatedTV to increase its coverage in Nigeria.

Specialising in European movies, music, and television series, Eurochannel recently launched in numerous countries including Estonia, where it will also soon be carried by SVT, Iceland (365), and Albania (Tring).

It is also increasing its coverage in many countries including France, Poland, Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

In December 2013, the channel was launched in France on cable operator Numericable's Premium Cinema package, as well as on the leading regional operator in New Caledonia, N'Cal.

After Kicking off in Poland on six local operators (Netia, Mavip, Stowarzyszenie KSTS, BOY, Isko and Aura & Pulawska), Eurochannel will launch in 2014 on leading operators Tele Piast in Gdansk and Domel Media in Lodsz.

In each country, Eurochannel's programming is available in its original audio version with subtitles.

Created in 1994, it is now available in 42 countries around the world. Linear, VOD and SVOD versions are now accessible to more than 100 million households.
