Spain's Atresmedia and Canal+ have closed distribution deals for this year's Oscar-winning films.

Gravity, 12 Years a Slave and Blue Jasmine will be broadcast free-to-air by Atresmedia TV. According to the media group, it has purchased the rights for the Oscars' most awarded movies, although there is no premiere date as yet. It has also announced the acquisition of The Wolf of Wall Street and August.

These deals have been possible thanks to Atresmedia's collaboration with American distributors. Gravity and Blue Jasmine have been purchased through Warner, The Wolf of Wall Street through Universal and 12 Years a Slave and August through Spain's DeAplaneta.

Gravity is already available through the pay-TV platform Yomvi on its pay-per-view service, while Blue Jasmine, La Grande Bellezza and Frozen will arrive during March. 12 Years a slave will be available in April, while Her will be available in June and Dallas Buyers' Club in July.
