Liverpool launches enhanced online, mobile video football offer

Attempting to further cash in on its global visibility, Liverpool Football Club, the UK’s most successful football team, has re-launched its online video offering.
The new LFC GO is designed to offer fans of the five-times Champions League winners access to content on-demand that is not available from pay-TV broadcasters such as BSkyB and BT Sport in the UK.
Available on PCs, laptops, tablets or mobiles, the online video package offers exclusive interviews with manager Brendan Rodgers and players including Steven Gerrard and Luis Suárez, as well as goals, highlights, reaction and analysis from every first team, U18 and U21 match. It also offers coverage of the Women's Super League champions, Liverpool Ladies.
The launch is another part of Liverpool’s successful digital media strategy which has seen a number of country-specific launches across the globe especially in the key Asian territories aiming to maximise the potential of a brand which has few equals in world football. Liverpool claims to be the first football club to have launched an official page on the iTunes platform enabling fans to download video content to Apple devices.

This is a key appointment in our digital strategy to create further engaging content for our growing global fan base."
