The Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency (ERTA) has selected SatLink for the distribution of its ETV news channel across Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

SatLink will use its capacity on AMOS -5 C-band to distribute the government-owned ETV to Africa's multi-channel platforms, while the Middle East and Europe will be covered via Ku-band capacity on Hot Bird 13.0 degrees East. Galaxy 19 at 97.0 West Ku-band, which hosts the largest ethnic video platform in North America, will be used to reach direct-to-home (DTH) viewers in the US.
