Telson to design TV channel for high speed trains

Telson, part of the Tres60 Group, is to design the new channel for the Spanish train company Renfe, which will broadcast movies and documentaries on high speed, long distance trains. The company will be in charge of designing Renfe's entire entertainment offer.
With an audience in 2013 of 25.4 million passengers, the renewed channels will have an on-demand offer with audiovisual content, as well as digital music channels and audio books.
Telson will also design a new headend, a message service for the crew and news and cultural programming. All content will be broadcast in Spanish with subtitles, and the original versions will be always available. For the international lines between France and Spain, the movies will be also broadcast in French.
An interactive channel is also planned to be designed during the coming months. Through the Wi-Fi network inside the trains, an interactive audiovisual service will be offered.
Telson's project was selected through a public tender.
