Wikono, a subsidiary of Spain's Grupo Secuoya, has announced an agreement with Prisa to provide the company with TV recording infrastructure.
Over the course of a year, Wikono will be delivering camera-related services and electronic news gathering (ENG) for Prisa's various TV departments.
Wikono, which specialises in professional TV services, will be covering Canal+'s filming needs. The company will be supporting Canal+'s broadcasting of La Liga and the Champions League, as well as the bullfighting season. In addition, the ENG equipment will be used for Canal+'s own productions.
Through this agreement, Wikono will be delivering an integral service to Prisa TV, working from ENG coverage to video reception.
Secuoya's subsidiary has grown as a professional broadcasting brand, thanks to its franchise operation pattern, its dissemination technological platform and the international scope of its local operations. Wikono has 100% of its resources in Spain, exclusively managing the image supply service for the regional TV stations of Galicia, Cantabria, Basque Country, La Rioja, Navarra and Valencia, while offering operational solutions in major cities around the world.
