In the wake of its sister channel taking on comedy format Guys in Disguise, ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland has acquired the rights to factual entertainment format The Package from Armoza Formats.
Armoza claims a proven track record of success across all genres with over 60 formats in its catalogue and more than 60 productions in over 30 countries globally. It has brokered dozens of global broadcast deals, including the BBC, NBC USA, TF1, Channel 4, RTL, HBO and TV2 Norway. Aired in over five countries, The Package has already entered production for the German adaptation and is Greece's Alpha TV top show, with nine hit seasons and the tenth currently in production. The show also recently aired successfully on Brazil's SBT.
"The Package takes storytelling to its purest form and is based on the simple premise that we all have stories that resonate with others," said Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats. "It is a heart-warming format that has been a success in the countries it's already aired in and its sponsorship opportunities gives it further added value. We look forward to continuing the show's tradition of reconnecting people with the Germen adaptation and are happy to be continuing our partnership with ProSiebenSat.1."
