The Time in Between, a drama produced by Boomerang TV for Antena 3, has premiered in Italy with huge ratings success.
The series, called Il Tempo del Coraggio e Dell'Amore in Italy, debuted last Friday (25 April) as the leader in the prime time slot.
The first episode aired on Mediaset's Canale 5, drawing 3.2 million viewers and a 13.24% share of the audience. This week, Mediaset's main network will air the second episode of the series during prime time.
On a very competitive night, the premiere of Boomerang production prevailed over the football match between Rome and Milan that aired on Sky pay-TV, with over one million viewers. The series also beat shows already well established on Italian TV, such as the final of the talent show La Pista on RAI1 (12.98% and 2.9 million viewers) and Italia1's comedy show Colorado (8.59% and 1.8 million).
Including the first episode, Boomerang TV's series has occupied three prime time slots in Italy this week. The premiere of The Time in Between adds to the excellent figures gathered by Il Segreto, which has become a social phenomenon in this country and led prime time on 23 April with 4.1 million viewers and a 16.03% share. It was also the second most watched option on 26 April with 3.7 million viewers and 13.65%.
