Wondershare has issued an update to its video software that allows users to wirelessly transfer downloaded videos from computers to smartphones to take on-the-go.

Video Converter Ultimate (VCU) and AllMyTube software applications allow users to edit and enhance personal media and convert it to almost any format (MP4, AVI, MPG and so on), convert 2D to 3D video, create DVDs and download clips from YouTube and other video sites like Vevo and Vimeo and play videos back.

The upgrade allows compatibility with the free Wondershare Player App available for Apple and Android devices, so that users can wireless send content to a mobile device from the software, with no need to plug in and "side-load" it.

Once a video is downloaded to either the VCU or AMT program, users can click the Wi-Fi transfer button within the programme and it will bring up a QR code. The Wondershare Player App can then scan the code, to "grab" the video.

"The new wireless transfer feature makes using Video Converter Ultimate and AllMyTube even faster," said Summer Qin, marketing director for Wondershare. "You don't need to worry about searching around for the right cables anymore. Now you can easily enjoy your videos anywhere on your phone or tablet. Just scan and go."
