Disney Media announces 2014/2015 upfront slate

Disney Media Distribution has unveiled its 2014/15 slate of ABC Studios and ABC Family prime time series, including 12 new shows, at its annual International Upfront event at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

Upcoming series and stars include Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton from American Crime, Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne from Black-ish, Viola Davis from How to Get Away with Murder, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth from Mystery Girls, Octavia Spencer and Dave Annable from Red Band Society, Ryan Phillippe and Juliette Lewis from Secrets & Lies, as well as Emily Osment from Young & Hungry.

The new shows join a line-up of returning series, including ABC Studios' Castle, Cougar Town, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once Upon a Time, Perception, Resurrection, Revenge and Scandal as well as ABC Family's Baby Daddy, the Fosters, Melissa and Joey, and Switched at Birth
